In response to increased demand for our services, we are currently recruiting candidates for several positions including Director of Outreach, Associate Director, Project Coordinator/Administrative Assistance. Participation is free to the executives because the communities are sponsored and hosted by our clients – firms like IBM, KPMG, Accenture, AWS, and BCG. Position Description: Director of Outreach

The role of the Director of Outreach is to lead a team of part-time and fractional workers who are building communities of executives. This director needs an understanding of phone and email communication in the world of busy business professionals. This role requires an understanding of how to reach senior executives, and more importantly, how to lead a team to get results with this outreach. The role will include creating a strategy for the group, setting metrics, hiring and managing part-time team members, and ensuring productivity of the group. This director will report to the management team at PIE to ensure alignment with company priorities.

Position Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

  • Understand a work capacity model to create a projection of projects and resources based on company growth.
  • Lead and motivate a group of part-time outreach team members.
  • Leverage external contractors and other partners as needed to create a flexible workforce.
  • Offer innovative solutions and advice to the management team to help drive the growth of this function.

People Management

  • Interview and hire part-time team members (Project Assistants) who will add to the PIE culture and deliver results.
  • Manage the training process for new Project Assistants for the role (including training in our CRM, Salesforce.com).
  • Manage and coordinate schedules with many team members.
  • Directly manage all part-time project assistants (10+) and indirectly lead additional PIE employees who support executive outreach and recruiting efforts as a portion of their role.

Day-to-Day Management

  • Provide guidance on how to structure workdays and continually communicate expectations of priorities to team members.
  • Determine and track metrics around the productivity of individuals and the function as a whole.
  • Manage monthly and weekly goal setting for the team.
  • Schedule and lead team meetings throughout the week.
  • Manage incoming workflow and allocate resources to projects that are ever-changing.
  • Meet with the sales team to understand the nuances of incoming projects and how best to deliver on them, then keep in touch with client teams to ensure program success.
  • Create communications for client-facing use, including working with a graphic design agency to improve communications.

Salesforce/Database Management

  • Help refine the process of using a database for client support and internal workflow.
  • Create systems and processes which can measure the effectiveness of individuals.
  • Track campaign outreach styles to gauge the effectiveness of each method.
  • Train the wider company on new processes.

Qualifications:

Those qualified for this position should have at least 5 years of management experience leading a large team. Experience leading teams of remote and part-time workers is strongly preferred. Experience setting (and re-evaluating) metrics for a team and developing unique ways to motivate and drive the team to results is ideal. Those who generally thrive at PIE are self-starters who think on their feet and demonstrate superb organizational skills. Our Director of Outreach should enjoy working in a collaborative environment and have an engaging and articulate phone presence. To do well at PIE, individuals must have impeccable verbal and written communication skills and naturally conduct themselves in a professional manner. Our business has been growing for 19 years because we thrive in times of change. A bachelor’s degree is required for this position. Strong project and people management experience are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required, and proficiency in Salesforce is preferred.

Position Description: Associate Director

This role is focused on developing and maintaining strong client relationships.  Associate Directors build and facilitate roundtable communities for C-level executives on a global scale. Associate Directors engage daily with CFOs, COOs, and CMOs, among other functions from companies such as Coca-Cola, Amazon, John Deere, Pfizer, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs. PIE works on behalf of the world’s most renowned professional service firms including Accenture, Boston Consulting Group, Cognizant, and KPMG. This is a career-track position; as you grow at PIE, the expectation is that you will manage a full portfolio of projects on behalf of our clients.

Breakdown of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create targeted groups of potential roundtable members by researching particular fields and functions
  • Recruit executives to roundtables via phone and email outreach
  • Interview executives intelligently about content outside of your expertise
  • Facilitate by-phone and in-person interactions among F500 executives
  • Develop a consultative relationship with clients, advising them on how best to leverage our roundtable networks (for business development, research, etc.)
  • Participate in PIE business development initiatives
  • Produce executive summaries of roundtable sessions for distribution to member executives and clients
  • Travel as needed when roundtables are hosted on-site at client locations
  • Contribute to internal initiatives (e.g., PIE marketing collateral, research projects, company culture and team building, internal training sessions)
  • Supervise and/or direct the work of other PIE employees independently, or as a part of a team, to advance the organization
  • Demonstrate independent judgment on behalf of PIE with clients
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Position Description: Project Coordinator/Administrative Assistant

Project Coordinators are critical to all aspects of our client projects and our business, ensuring information is accurate and deadlines are met. This role is focused on building and maintaining executive roundtable communities for C-level executives on a global scale. Project Coordinators may engage with CFOs, COOs, and CMOs, among other functions from companies such as Coca-Cola, Amazon, John Deere, Pfizer, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs daily. PIE works on behalf of the world’s most renown professional service firms including Accenture, Boston Consulting Group, Cognizant, and KPMG.

Breakdown of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to our Managing Directors, Directors, and Associate Directors
  • Manage logistics for teleconference interactions and live events
  • Communicate with C-suite executives worldwide and their offices to schedule appointments
  • Maintain accurate and detailed database of client information via CRM software and spreadsheets
  • Generate weekly client reports
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with project managers on client teams
  • Prepare documents for client and member distribution
  • Participate in client calls and provide project/membership updates
  • Research and source executive contact information
  • Recruit executives to roundtables via phone and email outreach as needed
  • Assist with follow-up to secure sales meetings for Directors and Managing Directors
  • Contribute to internal initiatives (e.g., PIE marketing collateral, research projects, company culture and team building, internal training sessions)
  • Collaborate internally with other Project Coordinators and leadership to continually improve processes
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

We are looking for motivated individuals who embrace responsibility, have a keen eye for detail, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and perform well under pressure. To succeed in the position, individuals must be efficient, highly organized, flexible, and detail oriented. Project Coordinators are not afraid to pick up the phone and call an executive office anywhere in the world. Individuals must have strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Salesforce are preferred.
