The people, the opportunity to learn something new every day, and all the natural lighting in the office, amongst many other things.

A NOTABLE EXPERIENCE

When I was nineteen, I biked from Montana to Wisconsin in Chacos and leggings because a friend thought it would be fun. It was, but it also wasn’t. On that thousand-mile journey, I learned that North Dakota is not flat, bike shorts are a nice investment, and full conversations can be had in silence.

MY CURRENT GOAL

I have a handful of writing goals which include getting published in the New York Times, publishing a collection of poetry, and writing many handwritten letters to friends.

ONE OF MY FAVORITES

I love hosting friends or strangers (or both) for dinner. Sharing a meal, conversation, and laughter is my favorite thing.

Honorable mention favorites: eye contact, multi-day canoe trips, dark chocolate, and the Tour de France. Also, the oxford comma.
