A PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT I’M PROUD OF

I spent time as an exchange student in Sweden, and I taught English in the Czech Republic. My experience in Sweden prompted me to get dual degrees in International Relations (Intercultural Communications specialty), and in Russian Studies. Teaching ESL in the Czech Republic was a great way to put that education to good use! Both experiences were life changing, and they broadened my worldview in the best way.

MY CURRENT GOAL

Travel more! Now that my kids are almost done with university, I’d like to return to more international travel and adventure.

ONE OF MY FAVORITES

Tacos are a perfect food. I would argue that there is a taco for everyone, no matter your taste or diet restrictions; there is a way to adapt to whatever works best for you. Personally, I like a freshly fried corn tortilla filled with seasoned ground bison and topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese, green onion, black olives, avocado, and finished with a splash of Cholula.
