About Bridger Sellegren
MY FAVORITE PART ABOUT WORKING AT PIE
PIE is made up of a diverse set of people that are tenacious, intelligent, and supportive. I love that my colleagues challenge me and provide space for me to continue to learn and develop new skills and sharpen existing ones. The emphasis on collaboration at PIE is particularly important to me because it means success and outcomes far exceed the sum of individual efforts. Team success and accomplishments feel so much sweeter as a result.
A PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT I’M PROUD OF
I was honored to work as a researcher at Montana State University to conduct research focused on Technology Transfer initiatives within the United States National Lab system; we published three separate articles in academic journals. It was fascinating to learn about the long history and significance of Tech Transfer that continues to inform technological innovation today.
A NOTABLE EXPERIENCE
I spent many summers working on commercial salmon fishing boats in Bristol Bay, Alaska. I think sockeye salmon is delicious, but cooking up a filet on the back deck a mere hour after the fish was pulled out of the water is unbeatable.
